Will and I had the chance to go visit my sister Cynthia and her family. They were moving from Texas to Arizona and We went to help unpack (and have fun). Will wanted to stop on the way and visit the Petrified Forest. It was cool to see all that but I confess I was distracted by wanting to get back on the road to see my sister, he husband and my cute nieces and nephews, one nephew I had yet to meet. We got there about 8 o clock, shortly after they had started emptying the giant moving truck. I have to say, my nephew Lincoln is so stinkin cute!
The next day we spent most of the day having fun. We went to the top of mount Lemon to watch the sun go down and it was breathtaking! It was kinda fun, there was a couple getting married up there. I see why, it was so nice! We sat on top of this big rock that looked out over the valley. It was great! Then we ate at Will's favorite place... The Waffle House. It was pretty good but when your feeding a lot of people it gets expensive. We had fun thought. The next afternoon Will had to leave to get back to school. That sucked not having him there but at least I had fun times to keep me busy. Halloween was awesome! We carved a giant pumpkin (and I mean giant) then my brother in law Tim set up speakers and microphones so that it made the kids think that the pumpkin was talking to them. I got to take my niece and nephew out trick or treating for a bit and that was fun. When we got back I got to be the interactive pumpkin. I was the voice! I made kids sing happy birthday to me, and just had a good time talking through a pumpkin.
While there I help unpack, figure where to put things and my favorite part, help pick out paint colors for the bedrooms. It was fun. My niece had pink of course, my older nephew is going to have a map/ war plane room, and my baby nephew has red, white, light blue and dark blue stripes on the bottom half. The top half is blue with clouds and a red airplane. It looks good.
I had a great trip! I hate not seeing them very often but hopefully it will be easier now that they live a little closer.
