Will and I celebrated our one year anniversary on September 22. It was a very special day. I had work off -Will just works so early that he worked and when I got up he was home already. When I got up I was band from the kitchen. A few minutes later Will escorted me into the kitchen where he had a wonderful breakfast already prepared for us. Sitting in the middle of the table was a Willow Tree statue as a gift to me. It's the one called Promise where the couple is holding each other. I like that one the most because it looks like they are dancing. Will and I love to dance (mostly in our kitchen.) We just had a relaxing afternoon and then I spent forever primping. We got all dressed up and went to Temple Square. We walked around, reminiscing about when we got engaged, visited "Our Spot", and talked about the best day of our lives- when we got married. We had fun walking around taking pictures or each other and the temple. We had the most romantic dinner at The Roof! It was the best evening that I could have envisioned or asked for. We had the best seat in the restaurant- along the window, in the middle, right by the temple. The service was great, the food fantastic in display and taste, the view breathtaking but overall the company was the best of all! It was so romantic watching the sun go down. They had someone playing romantic Disney songs on the piano. That was fun because I love Disney anything! It was the best evening ever! The best part about the atmosphere was watching the sun set and the temple light up. Afterwards we walked around the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We had a guy stop us and give us a little tour and he told us some of the history of the building. After he recommended that we go request a song from the lady in the loby who plays the piano. We went and requested "The Way You Look Tonight". It was so romantic! Even though we were out in public I couldn't resist topping off the night with a dance. So, we danced and she kept playing, so we danced some more. So it went for awhile until my feet couldn't take it any longer. It indeed was a wonderful way to end the most wonderful day. Will's present from me came a few days later. I had a pocket watch engraved with our names and the saying "For Time and All Eternity". This was the best Anniversary a girl could ask for! What are we ever going to do for our two year anniversary?
