Jekyll & Hyde

The show is running right now and it is so fun. My cast has grown really close and we have a blast. When were not on stage killing people we are back stage dancing, stuffing our faces, pretending to be the person on stage singing, or just having fun talking. We even have "a song". It's a rap song (yes rap- I know- rap isn't my favorite but this song is fun to dance to) called LOW. The show has been an absolute hit! Every night it's sold out with a waiting list of about 25 people. They had to extend the show a week- which is very rare. So the show now goes till Nov. 7. If you haven't seen it yet and want to get your tickets do it now. I would like to say Thank You to my devoted husband Will. He has hardly seen me between work, the play, and whatever is left of my social life after it's been on hold for so long. Also Thank You's to my family and friends who have been supportive in coming to the show and being understanding when I couldn't do anything for the last while.

1 Year Down, Eternity To Go!

Will and I celebrated our one year anniversary on September 22. It was a very special day. I had work off -Will just works so early that he worked and when I got up he was home already. When I got up I was band from the kitchen. A few minutes later Will escorted me into the kitchen where he had a wonderful breakfast already prepared for us. Sitting in the middle of the table was a Willow Tree statue as a gift to me. It's the one called Promise where the couple is holding each other. I like that one the most because it looks like they are dancing. Will and I love to dance (mostly in our kitchen.) We just had a relaxing afternoon and then I spent forever primping. We got all dressed up and went to Temple Square. We walked around, reminiscing about when we got engaged, visited "Our Spot", and talked about the best day of our lives- when we got married. We had fun walking around taking pictures or each other and the temple. We had the most romantic dinner at The Roof! It was the best evening that I could have envisioned or asked for. We had the best seat in the restaurant- along the window, in the middle, right by the temple. The service was great, the food fantastic in display and taste, the view breathtaking but overall the company was the best of all! It was so romantic watching the sun go down. They had someone playing romantic Disney songs on the piano. That was fun because I love Disney anything! It was the best evening ever! The best part about the atmosphere was watching the sun set and the temple light up. Afterwards we walked around the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We had a guy stop us and give us a little tour and he told us some of the history of the building. After he recommended that we go request a song from the lady in the loby who plays the piano. We went and requested "The Way You Look Tonight". It was so romantic! Even though we were out in public I couldn't resist topping off the night with a dance. So, we danced and she kept playing, so we danced some more. So it went for awhile until my feet couldn't take it any longer. It indeed was a wonderful way to end the most wonderful day. Will's present from me came a few days later. I had a pocket watch engraved with our names and the saying "For Time and All Eternity". This was the best Anniversary a girl could ask for! What are we ever going to do for our two year anniversary?

Im Getting Old!

I'm really behind on updating about my life, so here I go... I had my 24th birthday and it was great! My sister Cynthia came up from Texas "for my birthday" and because her husband was in training near by. It was a great surprise having her just show up. The weekend before my birthday I was blindfolded and taken for a very long car ride. It was at least an hr, in the heat, and lots of turns and dips. So, needless to say that by the time we got there I was ready to get out and have fun. My sweet hubby, a couple of my friends, and my sister Cynthia surprised me with a horseback riding trip into the mountains. It was fantastic. We went up for about two and a half hr's. I was nervous a bit at first because I hadn't done it in a while and my horse looked really big from the ground. Besides my horse wanting to eat the grass as we went. Overall it was amazing. We traveled up and down in the woods for most of the time. At one point though, all of a sudden we were on top of the mountain gazing out to the most breathtaking view! That was the highlight of the trip for me. Being on a wild stallion on the top a mountain. It was like a scene from Man From Snowy River. It was way fun! I was lucky and was able to spread my birthday out for most of the week. I had a family multi birthday bash, went swimming, and had a BBQ with my friends. I love birthday's! Except the whole getting older thing.
