Jekyll and Hyde

I am currently rehearsing for the play Jekyll and Hyde over at Rodgers Memorial Theater. I am having a blast getting back into theater after a four year break. Due to trying to go to college, health problems, getting married and work I haven't been able to do a show; so I finally made myself take the risk and to audition. It was nerve racking preparing a song and memorizing a monologue but the scariest part by far was auditioning in front of five people that are judging you! But in the end it was all worth it! I would love to have all my friends and family come to see me. I'm just in the ensemble but it's a great show. Dark and sad, but a great show. My favorite thing about the show (and a big reason I choose this show for my grand come back) is because the music is fantastic! It's moving and powerfull. It also is sung by some of the best singers around (including myself of course- snicker snicker.) Seriously though, everyone in the cast is great! I'm making new friends, getting back into the grove of being on stage and having a great time while I'm at it. For anyone that can come see the show it runs from Oct. 3rd through the 31st. I am in the M/W/F cast. It is slightly cheaper to go on Mon. or Wed. and even less if you mention my name at the box office.

How We Fell In Love...

My sister Cynthia is the match maker here. She lived in Florida with her husband Tim and their two kids. Tim and Will were in the same unit in the Air Force. Tim and Cynthia knew that Will was religious so they decided to share their love of the gospel and give Will a Book of Mormon. Later they invited the missionaries over to meet with will. As my sister Cynthia got to know Will more she decided that she liked him and wanted me to "LIKE" him as well. She kept bugging me to get to know him. I kept saying no, then no again, and no once more. But you see, my sister Cynthia is very persistent! So, finally I gave in and said that I would write to him. Just as a Friend! I didn't want to get into any sort of relationship with a non-member that lived in another state. So we wrote for a few weeks and then my birthday came up. For my birthday Will sent me 4 dozen red roses to my work. Well after that I felt like I couldn't just thank him in an e-mail. So, I called my sister and was talking to her and discovered that Will was at her house. So, she surprised me and put him on the phone. Well needless to say we hit it off. We talked for hours that day and everyday after that. The next day that he told me that he was getting baptized. At this point I decided it was time for me to go visit "my sister" and I officially met Will. It was a little weird the first few hours but after that we were inseparable. I stayed for a couple weeks then he came to see me two weeks later. Then on his next trip here he popped the question at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. We had a long year of waiting so that we would be able to get married in the temple- half of which was spent apart in separate states. But in the end it worked out. We celebrate our one year anniversary on September 22nd.
