Easter 2010
In my family we have always celebrated the Easter Bunny part of Easter on Saturday and the Christ part of Easter on Sunday. Will and I picked up that tradition as well but this year it didn't happen. We had so much going on that weekend that both got pushed to Sunday. On Saturday morning I had an audition for Annie Get Your Gun. It went well I though. I sang Windy City from Calamity Jane and then was taught and preformed a short dance. I get really nervous when I audition and I could tell early on that this was going to be no exception. I was nervous for days before and the night before I couldn't sleep hardly at all. I think I was awake more then I was asleep. I prayed my bum off to be calm and just do my best. It worked! I was nervous until I got in the room to preform. I was able to just do my thing without my nerves getting in the way. When I got home I decided to call work and see if they needed help. I was suppose to work anyways but I got my shift covered. With being Easter weekend and Conference weekend it was very busy. I worked from noon till seven. When I got off I checked my phone and had a message inviting me to Call Backs! That made me very happy! When Will and I were both home we colored eggs and had a good time! The next morning Will was so sweet and recorded conference so I could sleep a little longer. I was so tired from my busy day before and not sleeping the night before. When I got up we had fun finding the Easter eggs that The Easter Bunny had hidden. The Easter Bunny really had fun hiding mine I think. There were some hard ones to find! We both had Easter baskets full of fun stuff. Will got a season of Walker Texas Ranger and some of his favorite candies. I had the movie Sherlock Holmes, and bunny dressed like a lady bug and candy that looked like lady bugs. Then we watched the first session of General Conference and finished just in time to watch the second half. It was very nice! Will and I both think Pres. Uchtdorf is our favorite speaker. We relaxed around the house for awhile then started making dinner. We made and took dinner up to my sister Andrea's house to eat together. Afterwards we watched my new movie Sherlock Holmes. It was a very fun Easter!
Will's 27th Birthday
I'm married to an old man! Will turned 27 on March 24. He had school and didn't get home from that until about seven o clock. We went to celebrate at Rodizio Grill and had a great time. If you haven't been there, Go- but go for lunch. It's very expensive! They have all these different types of meats that they bring out on a sword/spear for you to sample. My favorite was the appetizer- fried banana covered in cinnamon and sugar. Yummy!!! I also like the grilled pineapple and I don't even like pineapple. We ordered desert to go because we were so stuffed. When we got home I gave Will his present. I gave him Real Salt Lake tickets for when they play L.A. Galaxy (Beckam's team). The tickets hadn't come in the mail yet so I got crafty and made some so he had something to open. They turned out pretty cute. We had fun and even though Will had school I hope he had a special birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!!!
